Heathrow Airport flights to Buenos Aires could offer travellers a great opportunity to experience the city's vibrancy and diversity, with one Lonely Planet spokeswoman describing the destination as a must for those hoping to enjoy Latin spirit.
Heather Carswell said the Argentinean capital is not only a "foodie's paradise", but provides a "delightfully cheap" getaway for holidaymakers.
She remarked: "It is a city where you can find authentic old eateries and tango dancing on every corner, colonial and art-deco architecture and stylish hotels, restaurants and bars."
Tourist attractions include the La Bombonera Stadium for football fans, Cementerio de la Recoleta and the San Telmo district, Ms Carswell added.
The latter is best visited on Sundays, she explained, where those hunting for souvenirs can pick up some bargain antiques, although during the week there is still an interesting mix of street performers to watch.
