Glasgow and Gatwick Airports are going to each get a new Travelodge hotel.
The hotelier has revealed that 22 new accommodation sites are to be developed, while 43 hotels are currently being built.
As well as opening a new airport hotel at Gatwick, Travelodge will unveil five new London bases, as well as six more ahead of the Olympic Games in 2012.
Visitors heading to the capital for the sporting event could therefore decide to stay at the Travelodge Gatwick Airport if they have a very early or late flight, as well as at one of the more central accommodation during the Games.
The five new London hotels this year will be in Southgate, Walthamstow, Enfield, Sutton and Bethnal Green.
Other airport hotels at Gatwick that people could decide to stay in include the Britannia Lodge Hotel, Best Western Gatwick Moat House and the Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick.
Meanwhile, Glasgow Airport has facilities such as the Glasgow Holiday Inn and Ramada Glasgow Airport.
