Designer fragrances popular with passengers's passengers are increasingly snapping up designer fragrances on flights, rather than those created be celebrities.

According to the airline, the most popular perfume so far has been the limited-edition Daisy Eau So Fresh, followed by CK One Summer and the new Jimmy Choo offering.

Men – who may be on flights to and from Manchester Airport – have voted with their wallets and pushed Paco Rabanne 1 Million to the top of the best-selling aftershave list.

Boss Orange has also proven popular with those onboard flights.

Retail director at the airline Paul Humphreys said that individuals are keener "to have a break from their signature scent and try a different brand when they are in the holiday spirit – and with our competitive prices there is no better time for passengers to discover a new fragrance".

Individuals who want to buy a new fragrance at a duty-free price could do so on flights from Manchester Airport to destinations such as the Algarve, Prague, Malaga and Paphos.
