Seoul’s Incheon International Airport has been named the World’s Best Airport – a title it was last awarded in 2009.
The World Airport awards are organised by Skytrax and are based on 12 million passenger surveys – 385 airports were eligible for an award this year.

5. Beijing Capital International Airport
For the third successive year, Beijing scooped the prize as being the best airport in China; it also topped the poll in the Best Airport Baggage Delivery category.
4. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport won the award for Best Airport in Europe and confirmed its reputation for being the best airport in Europe for transit passengers.
3. Hong Kong International Airport
Hong Kong International Airport might not have been able to win the Best Airport award for the ninth time but it did come out on top in the Best Airport Dining Experience and Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness categories.
2. Singapore Changi Airport
How many British airports have a swimming pool, open gardens and cinema like Singapore’s does? No wonder this airport won the prize for being the airport with the best leisure facilities.
1. Incheon International Airport
While some airports are just content to house a Tie Rack and a Burger King, Incheon has a golf course, ice skating rink, indoor gardens and a Museum of Korean Culture. It has so many facilities that you could easily spend a whole day there!
