easyJet Baggage Allowance

Hand Luggage

easyJet allows 1 bag of hand luggage in the cabin with a maximum size of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm including handles and wheels. There is no weight restriction on cabin baggage as long as you can place it in an overhead locker without assistance.

Space is limited, and if there is not enough room in the overhead lockers, your cabin bag may be put in the aircraft hold.

Additional Under Seat Bag

If you are an easyJet Plus cardholder, FLEXI fare, Up Front or Extra Legroom passenger, you can bring an additional under seat bag. This also applies to passengers travelling with an infant on the lap (under the age of 2).

Checked Baggage

easyJet allows up to 3 checked bags charging up to £30 per bag. The total size must be under 275cm (add the length, width and height to get the measurement). The weight per bag must be 23kg or less. Passengers are permitted to purchase extra weight in 3kgs units, up to a maximum of 32kg per bag.

You cannot book hold luggage for infants on laps (under 2).

Checked Baggage Options

From 15th November 2017, easyJet introduced new baggage options to suit different requirements:

  • 15kg bag – ideal for a short or weekend break.
  • 23kg standard bag – suitable for most passengers.
  • Up to 32kg bag – this is for those who need more than the usual holiday or business trip essentials!
