Just one of the many Hotels near Manchester Airport available from FHR.

Basic but clean and comfortable hotel with decent, reasonably priced restaurant for an evening meal - ideal for a few hours rest before an early flight, but look elsewhere if you have a celebratory stay in mind. Cheap and efficient transfer, but only runs every 3/4 hour - can mean some waiting around at both ends unless you are willing to pay taxi fare (which might be as cheap for a party of 4). Under cover car parking slots quite narrow if you have anything but a city car to park, but that was full on our visit anyway. We parked outside for 10 days with no problems. Overall good value - not much more than the cost of parking.

The parking service was fine, undercover and in a safe locoation with security gates to get in and out. The problem was the service of night staff on returning to stay our 1 night after the holiday. I booked a family room for the people and arrived to a room with only 2 beds. After going back to report to reception the staff were very unhelpful and rude and said that was the only room available and I had supposodly booked a Double room. So we had to put child on floor on covers. In morning I returned to speak to staff at reception who were more helpful and checked my booking to which I did book a room for 3 and it was there mistake and appologised and offered complimentory breakfast. I have since put a complaint into Brittania but had no reply after 3 weeks and 2 phonecalls.

Taxi firm hotel used were very disappointing. Taxi came for 4 people instead of 6 to which driver assured us he had radioed in to sort but 30 minutes later there was still no new vehicle. Hotel phones several times to resolve the issue and eventually we travelled to airport almost 45 minutes late with our luggage on our knees! The hotel could not have been more helpful though and refunded the cost of transfer. No problems on return from holiday.

Ok for a quick stop over. Car parking was ample, shuttle service is excellent. Room service pizza was great. The hotel needs some money spent on it as im honest, it looks a bit tired.

On arriving at the Britannia Airport Hotel we were informed we were moving to the Britannia country house hotel. I complained and said we didn't want to move but was advised we had no choice as their hotel was fully booked with refugees. They advised me that FHR should have notified us of this change of plan as they were aware of this. You did not tell us of the change and I feel very disappointed. We had taken 6 cases out of the car, down the ramp and into the hotel then had to take them back again 10 minutes later.

HELLO The whole booking package - hotel, meals & car parking was faultless. The Britannia Airport Hotel is just off the motorway - really easy to get to and.... The car was parked in a very secure car park - belonging to Britannia airport hotel, you had to have a security code for the car park gate, before you could take your car out , which we thought was good, will definitely be booking when we go away again. my only small niggle was, apart from having to find loose change for the phone, WHEN we found it ( which originally was supposed to be a free courtesy number) & then trying to listen to the instructions as where we should stand to wait for taxi, I am deaf - & with all the noise of the airport, I couldn't hear, my husband had to take over . but that aside - we thank you very much for an efficient & friendly service. Mr Mrs Bennett

The hotel was ok - clean room etc . The buffet meal was awful! We had booked parking for a month - website said the £75 to be paid on return, however the hotel wanted this on check in! Stuck to my guns, showed them the blurb on the website- they took an imprint of my card! - as we couldn't have got out the carpark without the code , it was a bit of a joke! Typical poor British service.

Close to airport with on site parking. Restaurant was acceptable. Hotel represents reasonable value for money. Rooms are in need of redecoration. The bath, basin and toilet all came from different decades and none was fitted properly or finished to a high standard. Staff suggested a taxi to airport so they didn't need to arrange transfer.
