Rooms clean but sheets did not fit the bed. Too small... Bathroom clean but virtually impossible to have a shower as water pressure far too low

dinner bed and breakfast was bought and paid for, only breakfast was had. Due to being held up at the airport waiting for our luggage and my disabled uncle being finally collected off the plane after over 2 hours after landing, we arrived later than planned at the hotel, missed the dinner cut off by 10 minutes. It was no fault of ours or the hotel but there was no offer to even help us out at all. To make matters worse we had to repay for the rooms as they claimed the payment had not been taken, despite me having the proof of payment and the email from FHR.com. The money was refunded the next day as it was only a pre authorisation, very inconvenient. will not fly from Manchester airport again so there will be no need to stay here again. Poor

Nice clean hotel and room was clean too, we did include breakfast with the room booking and was disappointed with the choice. We know that things have changed with Covid-19 but we both felt that including breakfast was not worth the price.

Room was very basic, dirty bath. Bed extremely uncomfortable, took me 2 days for my ribs to stop hurting. Car parking was fine. But.....airport transfer was terrible. On the outgoing journey, we arranged to be on 8:05 bus, by 8:15 it hadn't arrived, there were 11 of us waiting, the guy behind reception called twice to see where it was, an alternative arrived at 8:35. We were told that we had to call to arrange our return pick up when we got our bags. I called, was initially told at 1:45 the bus would be 3pm, then 2pm. We went to the stop to wait, a bus arrive at 2:10 said he could only take 4, (there were 9 of us). Said another bus would be there in 15 mins.......we waited, three people went for a taxi, others turned up, and called to find out when the bus would arrive. Finally came at 2:40, not a good experience when I have arthritic knees and standing hurts. Next time we would use a different hotel - perhaps one that has their own buses that come when you call to say you're at the airport.

I was pleasantly surprised considering it is a hotel that must get a lot of customers. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. It provided what was required at a very good price. Also when I returned my car was absolutely fine as well.

We waited an hour for transfer after phoning them 3 times and being told they would be 10 minutes we arrived at the hotel and complained to them and they said if busy they can take upto an hour but they weren’t busy it was 3 in morning and we were told 10 mins. Given a three star as bed was comfy but, when we went to get a shower the next morning there was no shower cream in dispenser would never go back to Britannia, the guy we spoke to on reception was also rather rude as their was a girl on her way into the hotel when we arrived ( after having a cigarette outside and he wanted to see her card on way in but was rather rude in the way he said it

stayed the night before our flight, booked a package that included dinner and breakfast. Would recommend them highly, hotel was perfect for a short stay and the airport transport was great, with collections being every half hour we didn’t have long to wait on our return. Everyone was happy to help and friendly

Very pleased with the room. Nice little bar downstairs with bar meal and drinks at reasonable prices. Restaurant if you wanted. Safe easy parking.hotel shuttle bus just £6 return per person. Staff very helpful. Made the early flight much easier and price including parking not much more than just parking. Would definitely use again

Basic but clean and comfortable hotel with decent, reasonably priced restaurant for an evening meal - ideal for a few hours rest before an early flight, but look elsewhere if you have a celebratory stay in mind. Cheap and efficient transfer, but only runs every 3/4 hour - can mean some waiting around at both ends unless you are willing to pay taxi fare (which might be as cheap for a party of 4). Under cover car parking slots quite narrow if you have anything but a city car to park, but that was full on our visit anyway. We parked outside for 10 days with no problems. Overall good value - not much more than the cost of parking.

The parking service was fine, undercover and in a safe locoation with security gates to get in and out. The problem was the service of night staff on returning to stay our 1 night after the holiday. I booked a family room for the people and arrived to a room with only 2 beds. After going back to report to reception the staff were very unhelpful and rude and said that was the only room available and I had supposodly booked a Double room. So we had to put child on floor on covers. In morning I returned to speak to staff at reception who were more helpful and checked my booking to which I did book a room for 3 and it was there mistake and appologised and offered complimentory breakfast. I have since put a complaint into Brittania but had no reply after 3 weeks and 2 phonecalls.
