We had both the evening meal & breakfast both were exceptional 👌 we also paid for late check out & booked transfers through the hotel we've done this once before & we're going to book everytime we go on holiday it was faultless. The rooms are very clean & bed & pillows add to a great night's sleep. Ten out of Ten.

Reception were on the ball as we're the restaurant staff. Unfortunately with only 1 person on the bar who spent time delivering food to rooms as well as attempting to serve behind the bar. Rooms along with the rest of the hotel needs some TLC as its all a bit tired. Having said that we would stay again as the price is reflective.

Nice hotel close to shops, clean rooms only a short drive to the airport, great for relaxing before you travel on your holidays.

Rooms clean but sheets did not fit the bed. Too small... Bathroom clean but virtually impossible to have a shower as water pressure far too low

dinner bed and breakfast was bought and paid for, only breakfast was had. Due to being held up at the airport waiting for our luggage and my disabled uncle being finally collected off the plane after over 2 hours after landing, we arrived later than planned at the hotel, missed the dinner cut off by 10 minutes. It was no fault of ours or the hotel but there was no offer to even help us out at all. To make matters worse we had to repay for the rooms as they claimed the payment had not been taken, despite me having the proof of payment and the email from FHR.com. The money was refunded the next day as it was only a pre authorisation, very inconvenient. will not fly from Manchester airport again so there will be no need to stay here again. Poor

Very easy for airport clean rooms easy to park and leave your car while you fly out abroad couldn’t find my booking when I got there but was sorted out I also find there seems to.be a lot of homeless and strange people in and out of hotel at night can be a bit off putting bar staff lovelly and breakfast plenty of choice

Nice clean hotel and room was clean too, we did include breakfast with the room booking and was disappointed with the choice. We know that things have changed with Covid-19 but we both felt that including breakfast was not worth the price.

Room was very basic, dirty bath. Bed extremely uncomfortable, took me 2 days for my ribs to stop hurting. Car parking was fine. But.....airport transfer was terrible. On the outgoing journey, we arranged to be on 8:05 bus, by 8:15 it hadn't arrived, there were 11 of us waiting, the guy behind reception called twice to see where it was, an alternative arrived at 8:35. We were told that we had to call to arrange our return pick up when we got our bags. I called, was initially told at 1:45 the bus would be 3pm, then 2pm. We went to the stop to wait, a bus arrive at 2:10 said he could only take 4, (there were 9 of us). Said another bus would be there in 15 mins.......we waited, three people went for a taxi, others turned up, and called to find out when the bus would arrive. Finally came at 2:40, not a good experience when I have arthritic knees and standing hurts. Next time we would use a different hotel - perhaps one that has their own buses that come when you call to say you're at the airport.

I was pleasantly surprised considering it is a hotel that must get a lot of customers. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. It provided what was required at a very good price. Also when I returned my car was absolutely fine as well.

We waited an hour for transfer after phoning them 3 times and being told they would be 10 minutes we arrived at the hotel and complained to them and they said if busy they can take upto an hour but they weren’t busy it was 3 in morning and we were told 10 mins. Given a three star as bed was comfy but, when we went to get a shower the next morning there was no shower cream in dispenser would never go back to Britannia, the guy we spoke to on reception was also rather rude as their was a girl on her way into the hotel when we arrived ( after having a cigarette outside and he wanted to see her card on way in but was rather rude in the way he said it

stayed the night before our flight, booked a package that included dinner and breakfast. Would recommend them highly, hotel was perfect for a short stay and the airport transport was great, with collections being every half hour we didn’t have long to wait on our return. Everyone was happy to help and friendly

Staff very helpful. Made the early flight much easier and price including parking not much more than just parking. Would definitely use again

Parking at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester was fine, however I was bitterly disappointed on our return in the early hours of the 26th September. We arrived at 0300 to be told by the receptionist that our room wouldn’t be ready until 1400 and that if we wanted a room that early I should have booked accommodation for the 25th & he couldn’t offer us a room as the hotel was fully booked. I appreciate that he was only doing his job but before I made the booking I spoke to a lady from FHR to say that I would be landing in the early hours of the 26th September and at no point in the conversation did she tell me to book in for the 25th. I then had to drive to Glasgow which after a flight from Malta in the small hours of the morning as I could get no other accommodation in the Manchester area!
