The DoubleeTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is located close to Terminals 1 and 3

Currently only Taxi transfers are available at a cost of approximately £5, It takes 2 minutes to get to Terminal 1 and 3 and 4 minutes to get to Terminal 2.

From Manchester Airport train station by foot- From the main entrance/exit, turn left onto Terminal Road. Bear left onto Outwood Lane and you will see the DoubleeTree by Hilton Manchester Airport opposite

Spent 1 night before a flight , plus 15 nights parking onsite, easy check in, standard room, clean, comfortable. Ate in the hotel restaurant that evening, decent food, a tad overpriced, but that’s the Hilton. All in all satisfying with our deal, big thing for us is the hotel don’t lay on a courtesy bus to the airport, but they are using a company(new)called CCP, it was only £8.40 return, very good, and reasonably priced.

Very easy to book and it was FHR staff that recommended this which was a better deal than the one I was going to book. Very nice friendly office & hotel staff, we had a nice relaxed meal then a good sleep in a most comfy bed. The hotel arranged a breakfast bag for us to be left for very early departure (the Babybel cheeses were slightly out of date). We were upset that hotel transport to the terminal was off and wasn't stipulated in the booking details, the site did say it was included so we had to get s which was an unexpected cost (both ways).

The Hilton provided all we needed for a 1 night stop over and a weeks parking, on site at the hotel, prior to our early morning flight. Hotel is clean and well presented, sufficient car parking, and the onsite is great. Rooms tidy clean and well equipped for our needs. Food is good, only sampled the evening menu as left prior to breakfast. Transport to airport very easy as they run every 20mins On return pick up from the same spot as drop off, used airport cuteousy phone, number was adjacent to the phone. All in all a good hotel for the night with parking

stayed at Manchester Hilton and parked for a week. everything was good .found this hotel was only one where we left the car and it stayed there.it was 5 minutes to the terminal. recommend if you don't someone driving your car somewhere you don't know where at your peril.

Hotel looked a bit tired. Large badly repaired crack in wash hand basin and dirty water outlet ,not too hygienic. Service from airport ,reception staff and bar staff very good.

First room stunk of urine, second room didn't have towels. The signs to the hotel are poorly lit, you can't see the Hilton part. Staff very friendly and helpful, restaurant was fairly priced and good quality.

If I pay for a room for four people should I expect sufficient toiletries etc.. for four people or am I being naive? We booked a family room for four people at the Manchester Airport Hilton well in advance however when we arrived at the room following a late night flight, there were only sufficient toiletries, tea, coffee, milk and cups for for two people. Since we had paid £160 for the room this was disappointing and...... no biscuits! I mentioned it to the person in Reception in the morning as we were leaving who gave me a blank look and also handed in a completed Feedback card left in the room with contact my details. I have not heard anything back so am left wondering if there was any point in completing the feedback. Do they do it just to make it seem as if they are listening to their customers??

Service on return journey was very poor. The telephone number to request transfer to the hotel did not work, leaving us stranded at the terminal. When we finally managed to contact the hotel switchboard it took a further 45 minutes for the transfer to pick us up and take us to the hotel. Standing outside in the dark, cold and rain after a 9 hour flight was not a good experience. No credible explanation as to why the phone number didn't work was offered.
