the hotel was ok but the time to travel to a sister hotel for parking was far too long, almost 30 mins. I don't think we would have found it without sat nav and when we got there the car park was virtually full. At 3.00 in the morning it is hastle you can do without. I would not use again and suggest that you try somewhere else.

You pay for what you get. Great price for 1 night's accom plus 14 days parking. Accom v tatty but a place to sleep. The 40 min wait to get picked up from airport not great and the car utterly filthy from the trees. But would use again.

Found it easily enough, the hotel is budget and most of the guests seemed to be on coach tours or airport bound but the hotel is very clean, good beds and happy hour (and a quarter) at the bar, though the bar only opens at 5.30. I can't comment on the food as we ate earlier in the day at a local pub and left too early for breakfast in the morning.

Just a litte bit complicated, stayed at the hotel for the night, then had to move to another hotel, parked for the 7 day duration.A little bit unclear about the pick up for the airport, unsure what to do on the return from holiday, eg it just states ring office number with code, does not let you know what or where the phone is? then the pick up name was not listed on the taxi collection, but all was good and inexpensive.

We stayed in this hotel for a night and used the car parking facilities before going on holiday. It was excellent value for money. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The staff and other guests were friendly and the food available was tasty and reasonably priced.

stayed here before but gone downhill rapidly - corridors full of people standing around they looked like refugees - my wife said she didn't feel safe. Would we book again - NO and thats from regular users of the Brittania group. Parking was fine though!

Ideal for stop over the night before flying from Glasgow, but sat nav is more helpful than directions to country house hotel from Brittania Stockport, where you park car.

Couldn't take advantage of the airport parking package as only staying one night so had to pay for a taxi to the airport. The hotel was terrible. The rooms smelt badly of smoke, tried 2 rooms. Both rooms were very small and pokey and DIRTY, they certainly did not live up to their description of 'executive'. The bed was horrendous, small, with a terrible mattress, almost unsleepable in. The website gives a very false impression. I can appreciate that there is not always a budget for refurbishment but there is no excuse for dirt and badly stained chairs, carpets etc.

Whilst the hotel was within easy driving distance of Manchester Airport, we were disappointed to find that the bathroom had not been cleaned (there were toothpaste stains in the sink) and only two towels were left. We arrived in the middle of a Wedding Reception so found negotiating the public areas very chaotic. The evening meal( a buffet) was 'picked through' when we turned up to eat at 7 o'clock. The room was small and shabby. Suffice to say that we will not stay there again.

Be v careful when you book with Brittania hotels. I thought I had clicked on the photo to book Brittania Country House Hotel but was put in Brittania Stockport Take my advice don't use this if you want to stay overnight and park for holiday duration. Brittania Stockport is a shabby hotel and does not allow parking for holiday duration - you have to drive on 1/2 hr to park at their Brittania Country House hotel not good if you have an early morning flight like us as our check in at 2 AM meant I had to leave Stockport hotel at 12.30 to drive to other hotel to find parking space and then wait for bus to take us from there. So meant we couldn't have a drink and settle down to wait as had to drive on to other hotel. Poor start to our holiday

It was awful from the start the staff were not very welcoming and lacking the personal touch the rooms very worn and extremely dated. The temperature in the room was unbearable and we were all kept awake due to the heat and uncomfortableness. The food was also over priced and not a lot of choice and lacked in flavour and freshness. I had to complain to staff about a very strong smell of smoking from a room near to us and this was not followed up with me later to confirm it had been resolved

Rooms were OK, window was broke and room was very hot, however didn't feel safe to leave window open. Was also concerned about leaving car as I felt unsafe but everything was fine. Wouldn't stay again for airport transfer as a bit long winded with parking at another hotel the next day.

Hotel old and if that was delux upgrade WELL?, the food included was poor but edible. We had to leave hotel 1/2 hour before taxi pickup and travel to another part of Manchester to a sister hotel to park and travel. When minibus arrived we were not booked by the hotel so taxi company had to send a separate car. The return from airport was fine. We are travelling from Manchester again in September and need a hotel with parking for one week we will not be using this hotel.

Did not realise when booking that you had to park your car at Britannia ountry house as Stockport is not insured for cars. It may be better just to book country house hotel in future.Saying that hotel was fine for one night but found breakfast expensive at £9.95

Very poor hotel and not the one we thought we had booked. We could not leave our car at this hotel but had to get up very early the next day to drive to the sister hotel 20 minutes away (if you can find it)!! Our stay included dinner, bed and breakfast. The chef decided there were not enough people in the hotel (although it seemed full enough to us)so refused to cook. We could have bar meal instead. Not a very good experience and we will not use this hotel again.

The hotel was very basic, transferring to another parking hotel was terrible, postcodes were not recognised by the satnav and staff unhelpful when we phoned to enquire where they were. Would not use the hotel again.....too stressful!!

Hotel fairly basic but it does the job of providing an overnight stay near to the airport and subsequent parking. The journey in the morning to its sister hotel the Britannia Country House to park was easy with excellent instructions provided by helpful reception staff. They knew exactly the time we needed to leave to make our connection to the airport and it all worked a treat. Taxi arrived on time for the airport and the return journey from airport to hotel just required a phone call to arrange pickup. Although a distance from the airport it is much cheaper than those nearer and does the job just as well. Recommended.
