Directions to site were easy to follow. The check in system was easy to follow & the wait for the coach was dry & heated, a bound in January. The drop off & subsequent pick up was close to terminal entrance. The wait outside for the return coach would have been really unpleasant if it had been raining, fortunately it was just very cold. The return collection was simple. The hardest part was getting the final barrier reader to acknowledge my barcode so we could drive out. It seemed to be quite temperamental for most of the drivers in front of me, so I do not think it was just me having a problem. Overall I was very satisfied with service & would use again if we fly out of Luton Airport.

The system in theory is good, and I liked the automated drop off and collection. However when we arrived back at the airport we waited maybe 15 minutes and then when the bus arrived there was not enough space for everyone queuing. That meant we had to wait another 15 minutes or so in the freezing cold. Not the best experience when returning from abroad. My concern for the future would be, what if it had been raining? There is no shelter what so ever. Would elderly, disabled and children all be forced to queue in the rain for possibly over half an hour? This is gravely flawed in my opinion.

VERY disappointing on several levels. 1st. It was a mad scrum to catch the bus back to the car park, no queueing system in place which led to some very upset passengers. 2nd On reaching the car park they couldn't find my car keys. 3rd. When they did eventually find them the exit barrier would not accept the bar code on the ticket. So I will not be using this park again.

Really efficient!! Arrived at 4am to find good signage to get to the Airparks Car park. Be aware that older sat navs do not take into account the new road network!!! Signs told us to park in a lane, remember the lane and take our key to reception centre. In the Reception there are automatic screens that guide you through the quick registration process. You are delivered a tab for your keys and told to attach and then drop the key in a designated number post-box. You are issued with a bar coded ticket for your return. We actually had an assistant who helped us through the process, but would not have had any trouble on our own. A screen informed us of the time of the next bus leaving and it did so on time. There is a twenty minute ride to the airport so you need to factor that in to your flight departure!! The drop off is in the bus lanes at the airport and not too far from the departures door. On arrival back you find the bus outside the arrivals in the bus lanes. A bus was actually waiting so we had no wait at all. On return to Airparks, use the barcode to find and open a numbered box where you fond your key. This also tells you the bay where your vehicle is situated. Load and go and use the tag to get you out of Airparks. Simple easy and love the new technology! Highly recommend.

Set up to get you on your way as soon as you arrive, waiting time was minimal at Airparks Luton depot & at Luton airport also better now that the bus parks directly outside of the terminal - no longer a 2 minute walk. Buses are 15 plate King Longs so decent bit of investment there & all round I find Airparks excellent value for money. Just need to relocate your Birmingham depot next to the M42 to avoid the delay getting to & from that particular destination.

Directions for Airparks Super Saver

There are currently major construction and roadworks occurring at Luton Airport, this is causing tailbacks and huge delays for anybody wanting to enter or exit the airport. Please leave additional time to get to your car park. Please check the airports information https://www.london-luton.co.uk/roadworks for more details.

THIS BOOKING CANNOT BE AMENDED OR CANCELLED AND IS NON-REFUNDABLE

At the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081.
Keep in the left hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
You'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.

Turn left onto the B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate.
At the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.

Some travellers have had trouble finding Airparks with their sat navs, so we suggest you take our directions into account. If you choose to use a sat nav to get to the car park, make sure you use the full address to avoid getting lost.

On arrival: We recommend that you follow the directions given to get to the car park, but if you still want to use a sat nav, you should enter the full address and postcode to avoid getting lost.

Pull up at the entrance barrier, which will lift after a few seconds (all cars coming into the site are recorded on CCTV). Park in one of the arrivals bays, then head into the check-in building. You check yourself in using the machines - it's a very quick process, though you'll need to have a copy of your booking confirmation with you. There's a member of staff on hand to help if you need it

The machine will give you a tag, which you should attach to your keys, and a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. Drop your keys in the box with the same number as the lane you've parked in. Your car will be parked for you, so just head to the waiting area and hop on the bus to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.

Returning home

The shuttle buses back to the car park leave from bay M right outside the terminal. You'll need to show the ticket you were given at check-in to the driver.

Make your way to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser - again, it's a very quick process. The machine will give you your car key back and show you on the screen where your car is.

Then just drive to the exit barrier - you'll need to insert your ticket to scan the barcode attached to your keys, and then the barrier will lift. If you lose your ticket, you'll need to go to reception, answer some security questions, then show a photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

Essential Information

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.
Please let Airparks know before you arrive if you require any assistance or if your vehicle has been adapted for accessibility purposes.
Maximum vehicle dimensions are 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions.
Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.
If you come back to a flat battery, the car park will be happy to jump start your car for free.
We normally advise our customers to give themselves 40 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the rush hour between 4am and 8am. However, there are currently roadworks on the M1 between junctions 6a and 12, so we advise you to leave extra time for your journey to Airparks too.
