Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

You will be met at the designated meet and greet area in the short term multi-storey car park. The chauffer will show you a parking ID and paperwork for your car before you leave

What is the pick-up procedure?

Call chauffeur when waiting to collect luggage,your car will be returned to you at the collection point at the designated off airport Meet & Greet area.

What security measures does the car park have?

What else do I need to know?

We have restrictions for vehicles over 3.5 tonne vehicles and black taxis. The Vehicle will be moved to the storage compound as soon as is practicable. The maximum distance travelled is 10 miles. On occasion the Vehicle may be moved to a different compound when operationally necessary. The Vehicle will be checked for damage upon arrival, the Company does not record minor damage i.e. stone chips, scuffs, scratches of less than 6 inches, dents smaller than a 3 inch diameter or interior damage. Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than booked, extra days are £15

2 stars as our car was parked and returned to us. It was dark so I hope there was no damage. I rang and was told it would be 15/20 minutes ( flight arrived 12.25am). There was a queue of people waiting in the car park, with 1 attendant working who was pleasant enough but didn't seem bothered about how people felt.Nobody knew what was going on, and it was chilly. ( if it had been raining I would have rated 0 stars). We waited a long time for the car and again for the ticket. We have used a lot of meet and greets in lots of airports, and this was very poorly organised. On a positive note the young man who bought our car to us was charming and the telephone staff were polite. You knew our flight, the car should have been waiting.

Great service made life easy and quick on the way out however on the way back whilst still giving a quick service I was not given a token to get out of the car park which left me stranded at the gate with a queue of cars behind waiting on someone to eventually answer the help button

Service upon arrival for our outbound flight was very good, we were dealt with quickly and efficiently. However the service upon arrival for our inbound flight was slow and frustrating. Instructions clearly advise to call once we have collected our luggage, which we did. The walk to the car collection point took us 20 minutes post the initial call. We then had to wait for a further 20 minutes before we could collect our car. Given that it was 3am and that we were travelling with my 4 year old son, we did expect the car to be immediately available at the collection point, as this was our main reason for selecting 'meet and greet'.

Luton is a disaster with all the building work going on. This must be as frustrating for you as it is for your clinets We simply could not find a way to park zone 11 when we came out of the terminal. We had huge kite bags to carry and kept on finding our way blocked by builders fences. I realise that this is not your fault but you must give your customers up-to-date instructions on how to get out of the terminal to the short term car park. When we rang your agent for advice he could not tell us what to do. Our delivery driver forgot to give us our carpark exit card so we had to return to Bay 11 to get one. Not ideal in the middle of the night

I am aware that major constrution work going on at Luton airport is causing difficulties. However the organistion for taking my car and returning it was caotic. On my return to the airport it took almost three quarters of an hour for my car to turn up after me phoning. I would have been quicker and cheeper to get on a bus to an off site parking area rather than using the meet and greet. Asking the representative at the car park for an update was a comlpete waste of time.

We use FHR most months and usually the guys at Luton Airport are great, unfortunately on Feb 15th when we dropped off the car it was chaos (I do understand that there are a lot of changes taking place at Luton Airport) There was nowhere to park the car and one of the Swift reps was extremely rude to me.My husband was in the car and I had got out to ask where we should leave the car - all he did was shout that he needed the keys then proceeded to shout that our car was blocking another one. One of his colleagues apologised but it was quite upsetting. Everything was fine on our return to collect the car which was waiting for us when we arrived at the Meet and Greet. We have booked again for March at Heathrow Terminal 2 & Luton in April as I believe this was an isolated incident

Everything functioned according to plan. The problem at Luton is the mildly disorderly and inconvenient system for handing over and collecting one's vehicle - not adequately adjacent to the terminal building, generally chaotic and submerged in potholes and building works. This is partly because of the current rebuilding of the terminal itself. But only partly. It is also evident that the airport authorities do not welcome Meet and Greet services, regarding them as a nuisance to be discouraged (compared, for example, with priority for private coaches occupying most of the space in front of the terminal... )

Excellent meet and greet. Unfortunately there was a 20 minute delay on arrival back at Luton. Our plane had been delayed by 2 hrs and when we rang from the baggage carousel we were warned of the 20 min delay (which it was exactly so no drama!) wonderfully polite and helpful. Will book again. Thank you.

Easy to book. Easy to find plot at airport. Staff very friendly. No problems at pick up - car arrived at same time as we did. All very efficient. Only issues are with Luton's ongoing building work. Swift Park Meet & Greet were great.

Not a great experience when returning to the airport. Firstly rang both numbers on the form but both were out of service! We then eventually managed to get through and were directed to the short term car park. It was a particularly cold evening and had to wait over 40 minutes for our car. Not the best as we had no coats.

There are currently major construction and roadworks occurring at Luton Airport, this is causing tailbacks and huge delays for anybody wanting to enter or exit the airport. Please leave additional time to get to your car park. Please check the airports information https://www.london-luton.co.uk/roadworks for more details.

Directions to Luton Airport
To and From the East and A1 - Access to London Luton Airport from the East and A1 is via the A505 dual carriageway through Hitchin. The airport lies just off the A505 and is clearly signposted.

To and From the M25 - Access to London Luton Airport from the West is possible through several routes. If approaching via Dunstable, follow the airport signs. Alternative approaches include travelling via M40/M25 to join the M1 and then exit via Junction 10. Exit the M25 at Junction 21 for the access to the M1.

To and From the M1 - London Luton Airport is only 30 minutes from North London, 15 minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1. The airport is just two miles from the M1 motorway. Exit the M1 at Junction 10. The route to the airport is clearly signposted.

Arrival procedure:
Call our team of chauffeurs around 20 minutes before you arrive at Luton airport. Our chauffeur contact number is the number on your confirmation

Leave the M1 at junction 10.
At the large motorway roundabout, take the third exit if you're coming from the south and the first exit if you're coming from the north onto the A1081 Airport Way.
Shortly after, you'll come to a roundabout and you'll need to take the second exit and keep on the A1081.
You'll need to take the slip road on the left to keep on the correct road.
After a while, you'll arrive at yet another roundabout and you'll need to take the third exit and keep on Airport Way.

Follow the signs for Multi-Storey Car Park 1.
Continue to Level 3 of the Muti-Storey Car Park to the Off-site Meet and Greet area.
You'll need to press for a ticket at the barrier. Hand your ticket to the Swift Meet and Greet driver, as well as your keys. They'll move your car to a secured car park.

If you're having trouble getting to the car park using a Sat Nav, try using postcode LU2 9LY.

Park in the Multi-Storey car park in the Off-site Meet and Greet area - you'll need to press for a ticket at the barrier. Hand your ticket to the Swift Meet and Greet driver, as well as your keys. They'll move your car to a secured car park.

Head to the terminal - it's about a 7-minute walk.

While you're waiting for your luggage, you should call Swift on the number on your confirmation . Your driver will bring your car back to the Multi-Storey car park to meet you when you get there. If you come back any later than planned, you'll need to pay your driver for the extra time when you get back. The car park will cover your exit fees for up to 15 minutes. If the driver has to wait longer than 15 minutes you will need to pay £7 to exit the car park, and this will continue to increase the longer the driver has to wait. It's just how much the airport charge.

Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £15 per day or part day after your booked return date.
