Airport Inn Gatwick

Really handy hotel for an early flight out from Gatwick. The one night stay and up to 15 days parking was good value. The hotel is a little tired, but still very comfortable and quiet. The only downside I discovered, which I think is currently due to Covid - is that there is no shuttle bus, so you have to order a taxi - the hotel have a freephone to enable this but the taxi fare is £7.50 each way so needs to be factored into the cost.

Hotel is easy to find but very basic. Bus to terminal now £4 each way so cheaper to get a taxi (depending on size of group). Reception was poor as long wait to be acknowledged. Car park was full when we arrived so instructed to park on a ramp, fortunately a space became available soon after.

Excellent location for airport departures. On site parking for duration of holiday, no need to leave keys. A bonus! Rooms basic, in need of a bit of refurbishment Catering basic. Restaurant was shut as “they had so few guests”. Food was offered in the bar, which wasn’t very comfortable. The music was very loud. Had to ask for it to be turned down (we were the only guests in the bar at that point) However ideal for pre flight overnight stay. Would stay again in the same circumstances

Perfect for our usage. extremely close to Gatwick airport, rooms are clean and very functional for an overnight stay. Good choice of food and drink on the premises and being able to park my own car and keep my keys is most important.

A 'tired' but adequate hotel for a single night's stay pre or post-flight. Some rooms very effected by noise from a very busy, close-by roundabout (if you're not used to that level of traffic noise, usually). Staff are helpful and prices are reasonable (in comparison to those, generally, in the close vicinity to Gatwick). I wouldn't recommend it for a lengthy stay.

A slightly 'tired' hotel that 'suffers' from being very close to a very noisy roundabout. That said, for common hotel prices around Gatwick Airport, it is reasonably priced and adequate for a night's stay either before or after flying. I wouldn't recommend it for more than a single night at a time, though. i haven't booked car parking there, so I can't comment on that.

the hotel was nice and good value for money but on return picking up my car there was a dirty film on my car i mentioned it to the receptionist but he made out he had no idea what i was talking about and seem to ignore me which put a bit of a dampner on the hotel

Convenient stopover and parking for an early flight. Rooms ok - quiet and warm if a little tired. On the plus plus side a great value restaurant for dinner with good food at a reasonable price. Also the shuttle bus stops at the hotel door and is only 5-10 minutes from the terminal Would use again and recommend to friends

We booked this hotel before reading the tripadvisor reviews which were discouraging, but found the hotel to be nothing like the awful reviews. We were warmly welcomed and the man on reception carried my wife’s bags to our room which was basic but clean. We did not eat at the restaurant because we had an early flight, but I found the range of real ales in the bar extraordinary for a hotel and the quality very good. We took the taxi to the airport which was on time and reasonable. A value for money hotel in a rip off airport. Will use it again next time.

Only needed a bed for the night and 8 days parking and was easily good enough. Only issue is entry to / from parking is tight for a long estate car!
