All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee, air conditioning, satellite TV with pay movies, trouser press & hair dryer. High speed internet access. Exec rooms also have free mini-bar. Superior, Luxury rooms and Suites have free unlimited internet access. children sharing with adults must be 12 or under. Nespresso Machines are in all the Luxury Rooms.

Parking Arrangements

On arrival at the hotel, please drop your luggage and any passengers at the main hotel entrance and then proceed to the hotel car park. At the car park barrier, obtain a ticket and please make a note of the level and bay number in which you have parked your car. You will be required to register your vehicle and deposit your keys with the Park & Fly Desk located just inside the main hotel entrance.

The room was okay but there was no dressing table with a mirror so there was nowherefor me to apply makeup or do my hair comfortably. I had to put my own mirror on the window sill. The room was designed for a man. There was no comfortable chair just a chaise longe which was inappropriate. However the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

We always enjoy staying here when we can purchase parking at the hotel. Without on-site parking the hotel becomes like many others. The beds at this hotel are good and the room size and decoration average but in a little need of updating. What does make this hotel stand out are the doorman and reception staff who are exceptionally helpful. Finally the bridge across to departures is fantastic especially during bad weather.

Booking via FHR is very simple. We booked the Sofitel Hotel with fifteen days parking included with our overnight stay prior to our flight. Easy access to terminal five is bonus. The hotel is luxurious with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay ,night prior to flying ! We chose the luxury room which came with a top floor canopy and drinks shindig , enjoyable views of the run way ,we both felt the hotel needed a spa or a pool to wile away a few hours . Cosy beds decent shower , no movies on the tv . Nice champange bar a a couple of eateries.

A very smooth operation once again. Very good service from all the staff and an enjoyable meal. Being connected to the terminal means you can relax completely once you've parked the car with no dramas in the morning. Not the cheapest option but for us, well worth it.

A very comfortable hotel, the main reason we chose it was the simple access on foot to both of the Gatwick terminals for an early flight. Parking this time was ok, on a previous visit we struggled to find a space. The only problem we encountered was some sort of cross room interference with the TV, so we kept getting a welcome to a different guest in a different room, followed by his searching for a channel, rather than the one we were viewing. This did settle down after a while.

Very nice rooms. Booked this hotel especially to use the tunnel into the terminal, however this was closed ! Therefore very disappointed as had to go outside on leaving and on return.

The tunnel to the airport was closed and whilst, I realise this was probably unavoidable, I feel a bit more assistance in getting to the other side by elderly people would have been welcome. Especially as it was raining at our time.

Dreadful Very noisy room on the 7th floor, Concierge came to the room in the morning and agreed fan like noise unacceptable suggested it was something on the roof, perhaps the Boiler? Apologetic Hotel Manager, but no explanation of what noise was, offered us an upgrade next time, but we expected some kind of rebate from what we had paid. Would think twice before using that Hotel again, which is a shame because this was our 4th time staying the night before our flight to vacation, always used the restaurant as well. Instead of arriving refreshed we arrived very tired and that's the hotels fault. Disappointing reaction to our complaint very poor hotel customer service!

The Sofitel London Gatwick (formerly Le Meridien) is situated at the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport. Follow the M23 to junction 9 and exit towards Gatwick Airport. At the first roundabout continue straight ahead,do not turn left into the South Terminal. At the next roundabout take the second turning, this will lead you to the North Terminal, follow the signs for the Hotel.

For guests booking hotel Park & Fly packages
On arrival at the hotel, please drop your luggage and any passengers at the main hotel entrance and then proceed to the hotel car park. At the car park barrier, obtain a ticket and please make a note of the level and bay number in which you have parked your car. You will be required to register your vehicle and deposit your keys with the Park & Fly Desk located just inside the main hotel entrance. Please note height restriction 2.2m. Your car may be moved to a secure off site car park for the duration of the package by our parking operator Maple Manor.
