Holiday Inn Express APH Parking

Had a recent 5 star experience at Birmingham recently so thought gonna use again, this was as near as good, room, location, easy to find. Welcome was nice and warm & friendly, check in easy enough so decided to eat across the car park at think the beefeater, was informed by Holiday inn staff cooker was broken and was shut...or it had shut earlier...well when we arrived we were told it was shut for renovation! So headed back in to holiday inn to order some food, well food nearly cost as much as the night stay, and it was awful, food some of it was very warm if that, was informed they had run out of chips or sweet potato fries, one or the other. So had some Skinned potato’s of some sort, these were disgusting, if I said they were Luke warm I’d be exaggerating, very disappointed, the chap who looked like the chef/waiter had asked us after we ate was ‘all ok’ I told him Skinned potato’s were ‘warm’ no apology, nothing no reaction no response just cleared the table, the burger tho was hot was nasty and if I stayed here again, I would def not eat again, especially if I saw the same chef pottering about. As stated room was nice and clean, and as we had early flight cup of tea was all I had, the food am afraid was no where near as appetising as our recent stay in Birmingham chain of same hotel.....what a contrast of food! 2 stars only for the clean comfy room & friendly reception staff. -3 stars for food, non responsive chef!

Exit M23 junction 10. Take 3rd exit at roundabout Crawley Ave A2011. At roundabout take 1st exit onto Hazelwick Ave. Take 2nd exit at next roundabout. At traffic lights turn right onto Hasslett Ave. East. Hotel is at the end of this road.

Park at the hotel overnight (free parking when resident) and on the day of your flight drive 6 minutes to the APH Car Park (follow the directions on your separate parking voucher) and catch the free 10-12 minute transfer which runs 24 hours a day every 15 minutes to both terminals.

Breakfast is included in the price of your package. It’s an English and continental buffet, served from 06:30 until 09:30 during the week and from 06:30 to 10:30 at weekends or Grab and go pastry and hot drink from 03:30

There is also a Harvester restaurant next to the hotel, which is open every day from 12:00 until 22:00. It serves classic British dishes as well as a menu for kids
