Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Please call us on the number on your confirmation 10 minutes from the airport. Drive to the Passenger Drop-Off area and park in Approved Operator marked bays. We will find you.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Please call us when you have all your luggage on the number on your confirmation. Your car will be immediately dispatched and should be waiting where you dropped it off. If you are delayed on return extra days parking are charged at £10 per day.

What security measures does the car park have?

Car parks have the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. We have CCTV, 24 Hour security presence, secure fencing and alarmed offices.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

The car park will not accept ANY vehicle longer than 5.2m in length. No MWB and LWB vans of all kinds these will be refused. Please also note that unless your car 1. is taxed until your return date & must have valid MOT 2. has tyre tread on each tyre that is within the legal limit or is in any other way unsafe to drive 3.Vehicle should have the correct level of engline fluids 4.Have sufficient petrol as it is parked off airport 5. No trailers are are accepted 6. We do not have a height restriction for Vehicles If not compliant with above the car park will not accept your vehicle

We have now used the company twice and will be using them again in the future, very polite and responsive operators. Always worry about leaving the car with a parking company but feel really happy about using them as they are AA & Gatwick approved operators.

Before departure we 'phoned 10 minutes before arrival at Gatwick South. We then had to wait in the pick up zone for 25 minutes until the driver turned up. We had called the office a couple of times to find out what was going on - we were told that he should be there. On our return when I called the number to say we had cleared customs it was like talking to someone in a wind tunnel but at least the car did arrive in 10 minutes, which was a plus as we were about 4 hours late due to snow.

Terrible experience with ABC Meet n Greet (also known as help-me-park). Departure at Gatwick North, from our first attempted call it took an hour for them to collect our car. On our return they took 35 minutes.

The out going journey was excellent, the man was there to pick up the car no problem. Coming back I called the company to bring us the car and was told 20 minutes because of no drivers and traffic, next phone call told it would be another 15 minutes because of the traffic, driver arrives and told me there was no traffic, we were waiting over 50 minutes in the cold, not impressed!

First time with ABC, and was disappointed by coordination of collection and return. Friday at 5 o'clock probably a busy time, but a 35 minute wait from phone to collection meant I nearly missed my flight. The return was was nearly as long from phoning to car receipt, on a Sunday morning.

Please be aware it is important to check traffic updates before you leave. There are long-term scheduled roadworks on the M23 near Gatwick Airport. These include overnight closures to the M23 and M23 Junction 10, that may affect your journey to the car park.

Your Meet and Greet parking at Gatwick Airport is booked with an approved operator - ABC Gatwick - You are authorised to meet on the terminal forecourts at Gatwick Airport. If you are challenged by traffic wardens or marshals please state that your parking is with ABC Gatwick - Please only use Approved Operator signed parking bays at the terminal forecourt as detailed below.

Please note that your specified meet time is appointed. If you should arrive before or after this time this may result in a delay.

We need an accurate return flight landing time and number to avoid delays returning your vehicle. Please be ready to verify this at the terminal when you hand your car to the chauffeur.

2. Drive onto the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport
3. Follow the signs for PASSENGER DROP OFF
4. Please be sure to take the right hand lane and park in the lay-bays marked Approved Operators

DEPARTURE - GATWICK SOUTH TERMINAL
1. Call the number on your confirmation 10 mins before arriving at Gatwick e.g. M25/M23 junction
2. Drive onto the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport
3. Follow the signs for PASSENGER DROP OFF
4. Drive to the Orange Area at the far end and park in the last lay-bys marked Approved Operators
5. Your driver will find you


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
1. Collect all your luggage from the carousel and clear customs
2. Call our 24/7 contact number the number on your confirmation
3. Follow your map we will give you to PASSENGER DROP OFF AND COLLECTION - it is sign posted
4. Your car will be returned to where you dropped it off

IMPORTANT - Your car must be taxed until your return date & valid MOT - it must have has tyre tread on each tyre that is within the legal limit - it must NOT in any way be unsafe to drive - it must be under 5.2m in length (No LWB and MWB vans). Vehicle should have the correct level of engline fluids and have sufficient petrol as it is parked off airport.

If your vehicle does not meet this criteria the driver will NOT be able to take it and you will have to make other arrangements to park your car. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

The car park operates on an appointment based system and there are stringent no waiting restrictions at the airport. Please notify us of any changes to your itinerary as soon as possible. If you are early or late we will do our very best to accommodate you as quickly as we can.

This parking service is operated by Help-Me-Park.

If you are delayed on return extra days parking are charged at £10 per day.

Questions

Our flight lands at 11.15pm. If it is delayed and we don't come through with our bags until after midnight will we still be met and receive our car ?With a meet and greet service, the landing time of your flight, together with your flight number is requested. If by the time you have landed you do not meet the driver  until after midnight that is no problem.

It may be worth checking your bank statement to check and see where payment has been taken.
